The Western metropolis is the sunniest capital city in Australia, and its people are as bright as the blue skies overhead. Summer arts festivals collide with days on the water, walks in one of the largest inner-city parks, and half-hour drives to fringing wineries and bushland where you can see kangaroos and cockatoos. Rottnest Island (Wadjemup), famous for its smiling quokkas and picture-perfect bays, is only a 30-minute ferry trip across the ocean.

Perth airport is serviced by all major Australian airlines from all capital cities and many regional locations. As an international airport it connects Europe, Africa, Asia and the middle east to Australia.

Perth is a 20 minute drive from the airport, or 30 minutes by the new Airport Line train.

Getting Around

Perth city is accessible by foot to many locations, but also offers electric bikes and scooters to make get around a little easier.

It’s has a dedicated public transport system as well as taxi’s and ride share options.
